Wind Project Development End to End

Walk through the wind energy project development lifecycle the way a project manager runs it: resource assessment, siting, wildlife permitting, interconnection, offtake, turbine procurement, construction.  The course runs as guided self-study: narrated module videos, review questions after each module, a practitioner case study, and a final examination. 2.5 PMI PDUs (Ways of Working, Power Skills, Business Acumen), self-reported in PMI's CCRS as self-directed learning. What you will learn: • Describe the wind project development lifecycle and how it differs from solar and storage. • Assess wind resource, energy yield, and the siting constraints that drive feasibility. • Manage wind-specific permitting and wildlife studies as schedule dependencies. • Plan turbine procurement, logistics, and balance-of-plant construction. • Coordinate interconnection and offtake for a wind project. • Apply milestone governance to a wind development program from concept to operation. Who should attend: This self-study course is written for project managers and finance professionals, and for PMP and other PMI credential holders seeking PDUs.
