About the course
The 100-day plan opens integration; it does not finish it. Post-merger integration is a multi-quarter program that captures the synergies the deal was priced on, and the integration management office is where it succeeds or stalls. This course teaches integration as a managed program: operating model, workstreams, synergy tracking, and the people risk that sinks most deals. The course runs as guided self-study: narrated module videos, review questions after each module, a practitioner case study, and a final examination. 4.0 PMI PDUs (Ways of Working 2.0, Power Skills 1.5, Business Acumen 0.5), self-reported in CCRS. PDU-eligible professional education. What you will learn: • How a merger's integration thesis translates into an operating model and an IMO. • How to structure workstreams, map interdependencies, and separate Day 1 from end-state. • How to structure, baseline, and track cost and revenue synergy to the deal model. • How to report net synergy realization, run-rate versus year-to-date, to a sponsor or board. • How to manage retention, communication, and management-team dynamics through a long program. • How to spot the warning signs that predict a failing integration before the numbers do. Who should attend: Project and integration managers, operating partners, and PMPs running or supporting post-merger integration. Program level: Advanced. Prerequisites: general project management experience; familiarity with M&A or PE-backed companies helpful. The 100-Day Plan course is helpful background.
